The terms on which this site is published, and the limits of what a publisher can honestly promise about products it does not sell.

Using this site
What we are
FrenchCruises.com publishes editorial guides and comparisons about river cruising in France. We are not a travel agent, a tour operator, a tour organiser or a booking agent. We do not sell or arrange travel, take payment, hold deposits, issue tickets or make reservations, and nothing on this site is an offer to do any of those things.
Third-party information
Facts about operators, ships, itineraries and inclusions are taken from those companies’ own published material on the date shown beside them. Companies change published terms without notice and without telling us. A dated fact is a record of what was published on that day; it is not a promise about what is published now, and it is never a term of any contract you enter.
Always confirm price, availability, inclusions, cancellation terms and any financial protection with the operator or seller before you book. Their terms govern your booking; ours do not.
No advice
Everything here is general editorial information and editorial opinion, clearly labelled where it is opinion. It is not personal travel advice, financial advice, insurance advice or legal advice, and it does not take account of your circumstances. Decisions about a trip, and about insurance, health, documentation and money, are yours.
Links to other sites
We link to operators, booking partners and reference sources. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content, availability or terms, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on the other end of it. Some links may earn us a commission. See the affiliate disclosure.
Accuracy, and what to do about an error
We take reasonable care and we publish our method. We do not warrant that the site is complete, current or error-free, and to the extent the law allows we exclude liability for loss arising from reliance on it. That limit does not apply to anything that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
If something here is wrong, tell us at editor@frenchcruises.com. We correct errors and record when we did.
Our content
The writing, comparisons, structure and design of this site are ours. You may quote a short extract with a link back and attribution. You may not republish substantial parts, and you may not scrape the site or reproduce it in bulk, including to train a model or to populate another site.
Operator names, ship names and trade marks belong to their owners and are used here to identify the products being described. Their use is nominative and implies no association with, or endorsement by, those companies.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to interfere with the site, its security, or the hosting it runs on; do not send us anything unlawful; and do not use automated means to place load on the site beyond ordinary reading.
Changes
These terms may change. The review date at the top of the page records when they last did, and the version in force is the one published here when you use the site.
