Uniworld currently describes its European river product as all-inclusive, and its France pages name the ship on each programme — the S.S. Joie de Vivre on the Seine, the S.S. “All-inclusive” is a description, not a contract
Uniworld currently describes its European river product as all-inclusive. That is a statement about how a regional product is positioned, not a guarantee that every item is covered on every French sailing in every sales market. Read the terms for the departure you are pricing.78

Two of the France itineraries run one way
Burgundy & Provence is published Arles to Lyon, and Grand France is published Arles to Paris. One-way itineraries mean two airports and, usually, a more expensive pair of flights.46

Where two lines are genuinely close on a French river, and on the Seine and at Bordeaux several of them are, we say they are close rather than manufacturing a winner.
The order that works, in our experience, is: pick the river, decide how you want the day ashore arranged, then normalise two fares against the same list of inclusions before you look at either headline number. Availability in the month you can travel usually makes the final call anyway.
